Rima’s way of finding whether Malti was smart or not is completely by the physical appearance.
She thought that since Malti shows off her oily hair and also adores a bindi on her forehead, she is not smart enough.
Another factor was the way Malti speaks.
She believes that Malti cannot speak properly as she says ‘Gud morning Teechurr’ instead of ‘Good Morning Teacher’.
