here is your answer-+×

"x =3/2
according to the question
2xsquare+kx-12=0
2(3/2)square +3/2k-12=0
2×9/4+3/2k-12=0
9/2+3/2k-12=0
3/2k=-9/2+12
3/2k=33/2
k=33/2×2/3
k=11

X=3/2
Put this value in the polynomial
2x^2+kx—12=0
2*(3/2)^2+k*3/2-12=0
2*9/4+3/2k-12=0
9/2-12+3/2k=0
3/2k=0+12-9/2
3/2k =24-9/2
3/2k =16/2
K=8*2/3
K=16/3
