Ron Forbes was a very good percussionist as well as a teacher. He spotted the potential of Evelyn. He began by tuning two large drums to different notes. He always encouraged her and said" Don't listen through your ears,try to sense it some other way".One day Evelyn realised that he can feel the higher drum from waist up and lower drum from waist down. Only due to the labour and encouragement of Ron forbes and dedication of Evelyn, She became one of the greatest musician and inspiration for handicapped people.
