Santosh began living life on her own terms from the start. Where other girls preferred to wore traditional dresses , she preferred shorts. After pressuring from the parents to marry like other girls left home and got herself enrolled in Delhi school. To pay the school fees she can do part time job. Then she started to start climbing the mountains after sawing the aravalli hills faced by Kasturba hotel.
Santosh's way of life:
• Santosh begins living her life on her own terms since the beginning of her childhood.
• She preferred wearing shorts instead of salwar kameez like other customary girls.
• She believes that if she was right in her approach, then others would have to change their way and not her.
• Santosh recalls that from childhood, she was resolute to live life conferring to what she felt was right for her.
