The biggest impact of satellites in the 20th century was the introduction

of internet banking and mobile banking services.

Satellites played a vital role in the exploration of national resources on

land and under the sea. Example - coal, petroleum, gold, iron etc.

Disaster management for natural calamities like floods, cyclones,

landslides, earthquakes etc became much easier. Several lives have been

rescued by tracking satellite images.

Weather forecasting and warning system for future dangers have saved us

from many natural disasters.
