The establishment of new cities helped the Sikhs find recognition on land. The sacred places were constructed through the contributions given by the followers.
Thus, they felt committed in all means in following the religions. Also, the new traditions did not give importance to caste and creed.
All were considered equal in Sikhism. Thus, they felt as a large family tied together by the religion.
