SouthAfrica had a long struggle to abolish apartheid. Apartheid was a system of racial discrimination. The Europeans dominanted and discriminated Africans on racial basis. Trains, taxis, hospitals, etc.were all separate for the whites and blacks. Since 1950, the blacks and coloured Indians fought against the system of apartheid. Many strikes and protest marches were launched. ANC led the struggle against policies of segregation. As the protests increased, the government realised that they could no longer keep blacks under their rule and changed the policies. And, South Africa abolished the system of apartheid.   #BE BRAINLY

Heya....

South Africa was struggling with the Colonialism over them...

This colonialism effect it very hardly,, no black people was allowed to use its rights they were treated as servants in their own country....

But a leader of 18 gear Nelson Mandela took the steps for this....

He made a party named ANC against foreigners and try to abolish apartheid system....

He was sent to jail many times but he didn't loose his hope...

Finally South Africa got freedom...
