A war of succession broke out in Hyderabad when Nizam of Hyderabad died. His son Nasir Jung and his grandson Muzaffar Jung started fighting for the throne. As the same there was a

contention for throne at carnatic b/w Chandasaheb and Mohammed Ali. With the help of French(Dupleix) , Chandasaheb became Nawab of Carnatic and Muzaffar Jung became Nizam of Hyderabad. But these developments enraged British (Robert Clive) . So attacked the capital of Carnatic (Arcot) and captured it. Chandasaheb died in the battle.
