In 19th century india was under british rule.that time incom tax was increased and internal custom duties were also introduced and people were forced to join armies and fight in wars.

All these were economic exploitations so people along witj gandhi ji done struggles, protests and marches.

So due to britisher's economic exploitation people were ready to fight together and develop a sense of nationality.....
