Let Meena receive m amount

therefore, according to the conditions

Arun =

$\frac{1}{2} \times m$

Gopi receive=

$\frac{3}{4} \times arun = \\ \\ \frac{3}{4} \times \frac{1}{2} \times m$

Thus total money received

$x + (\frac{1}{2} \times x )+ (\frac{3}{8} \times x )= 6000$

$x + \frac{x}{2} + \frac{3x}{8} = 6000$

Taking LCM

$\frac{16x + 8x + 6x}{16} = 6000$

$\frac{30x}{16} = 6000$

$30x = 6000 \times 16$

$x = \frac{6000 \times 16}{30}$

$x = 3200$

Thus , Arun's share =

$\frac{1}{2} \times 3200$

$= 1600$
