the Catholic Church respond to the Scientific Revolution - answer is option - a -  The church didn’t accept the theories put forth by scientists and held on to their beliefs.

In fact it jailed punished and suppressed the scientist who told them about the geography of the earth and universe and denied the theory that was told by the church.
