The desire for the freedom for his people transferred him as a politician and social activist of South Africa.

Explanation:

When Nelson Mandela was a student, all he wished for is the freedom only for him. He was not restricted to go anywhere, stay away at night and to do things as per his wish. He happily went roaming in the fields in his village. When he grew up, freedom for him became a very important and he considered it as the right of each and every individual citizen to overcome fear and attain victory over fear.

He wanted men to be very courageous and brave enough to conquer fear and fight for freedom. His desire for the freedom made him fight against the system racial segregation and the Apartheid government. He became the anti-Apartheid activist and politician of South Africa.
