Early humans were just as smart as you and me, or Einstein. There’s no evidence that intelligence has really increased all that significantly since prehistoric times.

Obviously what intelligence is applied to changes, but the level of smarts itself is generally the same. Back then, it was mostly about staying alive until tomorrow.

But once rolling motion has been observed naturally - a boulder rolling down a hill, say, then it’s probably not a huge stretch for the technologists of the day to have had the idea. Using logs as rollers only requires the ability to fell and de-branch a tree, though even that might have taken thousands of years to be within the reach of early tools.

We have no idea when the wheel was invented, because it long predates written language. The only thing we can be sure of is that it happened.

Hi here is your answer

The first wheels were not used for transportation. Evidence indicates theywere created to serve as potter'swheels around 3500 B.C. in Mesopotamia—300 years before someone figured out to use them for chariots. The ancient Greeks inventedWestern philosophy…and the wheelbarrow.
