Hello Mate,

The following points may help you-

The east Indian company decide to suppress the revolt with all its might.

Reinforcement were bought in from England.

They passed new laws to make it easy to offend the rebels.

The East India company moved their forces into the storm centre of revolt.

Finally Delhi was recaptured from the rebellions in September 1857.

The way India company was shoken up by the revolt.. But it started managing the rebellion and the renewals by the following :

1.It brought the forces from the Britain.
2.first, it captured Delhi as badshah bahdur shah zafar was a turning point of the revolt.
3.then, it started to move to the main centres of the revolt,Like Meerut.
4.then they started arresting the leaders who lead the revolt, like Nana shaheb, Rani laxmibai, Avantibai, Kunwar singh
5.It took nearly two years to Company to supress the revolt
6.But,it was forced to change the policies they had
