European countries followed many measures to resolve their post WW2 problems.

After the World War 2, millions of people were dead and other million  were homeless. The economy of Europe had collapsed along with its industrial structure.

a. There was a Marshall plan extended by US as a financial support to European countries.

b. European Parliament was formed.

c. Council of Europe was established in 1949 which aimed at political cooperation.

d. European Union was formed in 1992 which aimed at having a common security policy, having single currency, cooperating each other in justice affairs and so on.
