The French and Indian War altered the ideological relations between Britain and its colonies because all the regulations and taxes caused the colonies to have feelings of resentment toward Britain.

Due to this war, British managed to get the land that most belonged to France in the eastern side of the river Mississippi. After the war, several laws happened to be passed. These laws dealt with so many changes that were brought by the war between the two countries. The colonists event wanted to get to settle to the land found in the western side of France.
