how did the hostel treat the low caste or poor children ?

As before the lower casts rights around 1930when SC community had first recognition after that the lower cates has little aware of there rights as some of them are literate so the higher caste always push them back or try to push out them of main stream in hostel also the harassment case against the lower cate increased by the time it became the ajor problem of india as untouchability and discrimination .but after independence around 1970s the whole aspect of discrimination has decreased because more of population had became litrate.
