Answers
After becoming invisible, when Griffin was running away from Iping to Adderdean, on the way he saw Mr. Marvel sitting by himself. He thought of taking Marvel’s help in retrieving his journals in which he had recorded the research and formulas. Marvel was talking to his shoes; Griffin went closer to him and spoke to him. But Marvel could not find the source of the voice. Griffin tried very hard convincing him he was invisible; but Marvel was not ready to believe him. Griffin lost temper and flung flints at him; one flint struck Marvel’s toe and caused pain to him; Griffin threatened him that if he did not believe him, he would hit his head with the flint. Marvel agreed to believe him. Then Griffin allowed to touch him. This is how Griffin convinced Marvel of his invisible existence.
