Jacobians were the Members of the famous political group during the time of French revolution.They decided to wear long striped trousers similar to those worn by dock workers.This was to set themselves apart from the fashionable sections of society, especially nobles, who wore knee breeches.These Jacobians came to be known as Sans-cullotes
