According to an article “America Found and Lost”, the ecosystem in Jamestown started to change after the English colonists stepped in in the seventh century.
The European settler came in to Jamestown in a wish to have more Gold and silver but they only got tobacco.
This is how the ecosystem changed after the colonists settlers came in. They came in along with their illness like Malaria. They possible introduced new forming methods along with rats and rodents which effected the ecosystem gradually.
