"The Gentleman of Jungle' is the story by Jomo Kenyatta. It talks of a man who lives in a hut and an Elephant, a friend of him who seeks his help during rain for giving a roof to its trunk. Though slowly and slowly, the elephant takes over the complete space in the hut and it throws the possession and the man out of the place. This leads to a dispute where the King of the jungle, the Lion takes up the responsibility to solve the dispute and forms a committee of animals to deal with the problem.
The elephant itself is part of the committee. All these animals overtake the possession of the hut repeatedly with the force of their power of position and with the fear of man that if he rebels, the animals would rather eat him.
Though the man soon outwits these position holders of the jungle by chalking out a tactful plan. He builds a new house for himself. The animals overtake the possession of that new house and they occupy it by force. The man goes out of it and burns it down and kills the animals with his sharp wits. This is how the man in the story with his logic and use of mental power outwits the animals who were exploiting his resources."
