The common people of Germany reacted to Nazism in many ways:-1. Many were Nazi supporters who developed hatred and anger for the Jews. They always looked the Jews with suspicion. For them, Nazism offered a ray of hope. They saw the world through Nazi eyes and spoke their language. They reported against suspected Jews and marked their houses. They genuinely believed that it would bring prosperity and well being to all.2. Many defied Nazism and oppressed Nazi ideas. They organized active resistance to Nazism. They even faced police repression and death.3. Most of the Germans remained neutral as passive onlookers and apathetic witnesses. They did not had the courage to revolt, protest and act against the Nazi rule.

Many common people saw the world through Nazi eyes and spoke their mind in the Nazi language. They felt hatred and anger inside them when they saw someone who look like a Jew. They marked the houses of the Jews and reported suspicious neighbours. They generally believed Nazism would bring prosperity and improve general well being.
