During the Ouija board party John was forcibly made reluctant to join Laura, which he did, where he found the Ghost communicating a message that John is a traitor as he wasn't able to prevent others from using the board, this further aggravated the problem when that ladies began to doubt Johns loyalty to his wife which affected their relationship and arouse suspicion of Lavinia.
