the main aim of the partition of bengal was to break the growing solidarity of the bengal and to divide the hindu-muslim unity in bengal in this way it impacted the nationalist movement.

due to partion of bengal all the leaders and the the people from different relegions united and due to it india got united which helped india to become strong and promoted the nationalist movement
