According to some historians Rajput where the son of the Rajas but some story and says that the Rajput were descendants of foreign invaders.the origin of Rajput is not officially known but some Rajput find their origin with sun and moon and hence they are known as Suryavanshi and Chandravanshi respectively.There are four main casts of Rajput which are Pratihar, Chauhan,Chalukya and Pala.
