1.Frances was declared a republic.

2. The monarchies of Europe were alarmed and threatened by the development in france.

3. War was declared by britain,holland,spain and hungary against france.

4. France fought back and finally only great britain and austria continued the war.

5 . A new goverment was set up in france called the directory in 1795,which depend in military genius of napoleon bonaparte and finally directory was able to establish order in france and successfully defeat the European monarchies that were opposed to the new french government
