The scientific development that took place during the 16th and 17th centuries saw the beginning of modern science. This was a highly complicated process which involved a combination of natural science with other subjects like maths, science, astronomy, optics, geography etc. Earlier science developed during the time of Aristotle was only based on the study of nature.
