Students were actively participating in fighting against the colonial rules.
When the colonial government did not give white collar jobs to vietnamese they grew angry and started many revolts against them which included protests , movements etc. They also went to japan for education and returned with anger filled with them. Students of vietnam aggressively started leaving schools and joining many movements.
