As he was fond of hunting tigers, so as, he expressed his wish to the tiger king for hunting tigers of his empire, but the king refused him. On this refusal, the high-ranking British officer requested the king to just take a picture with the corpse of the tiger, but the king denied him this permission also.

At the same time, the Maharaja did not want to upset the British officer and thus to keep his kingdom safe he sent fifty rings of the diamond to the wife of the king. The lady kept all the fifty rings with her and sent a note of thanks to the Maharaja. This is how the king managed to save his empire.
