The Ho Chi Minh trail symbolises how the Vietnamese used their limited resources to a great advantage.
The trail had an immense network of footpaths and roads.
Many hospitals, support bases were constructed along the trail. The Vietnamese porters carried about 25kiloson their backs and 70 kilos on their bicycles.
The US constantly bombed the trail trying to disrupt supplies but their efforts failed as they were rebuilt by the VIETNAMESE very quickly.
