The Vietnamese War also known as the Second Indochina War was against the imperialism in the country. It was against the Americans who had a stronghold in Vietnam. They people of Vietnam showed consistent resistance in spirit of nationalism. 

Along with men, women played an important role in the Vietnamese War. They not only came forward as warriors but also as workers. 90%of the women worked as nurses when the casualties grew during 1960s. They also worked as police wardens, air traffic controllers, clerks and communicators.
