heya......

 If you overexert(vigorous exercise) yourself, your muscles get depleted of oxygen, which causes a build up of waste. The waste products, primarily lactic acid, can cause your muscle to spasm.

hey dear here your answer;

➡ it is also known as aerobic respiration.
our muscles also respire during the heavy exercise or running fast so this respiration is known as emergency respiration. during the heavy exercise our body needs extra energy so respiration of muscles provide the extra energy but on harmful substances such as lactic acid is produced so our muscle cells start cremp. for getting the relief from cramping we should apply the hot water or massage. so that the blood circulation become high and supply of oxygen increase and oxygen breakdown the lactic acid into carbon dioxide and water.

☺ Hope this helps you deaR ✌✌.
