• Furthermore, the  projects have struggled to achieve full flood control gains, while the drainage channels, embankments, & flood management systems have failed miserably to deliver results.
• Multipurpose projects have had a significant detrimental effect on the ecosystem as a due to water harvesting and soil salinity depletion in their management areas.
