How come even we are discussing this question ? This sentence seem us funny, right ?

Though its funny, but still its the qúestion regarding wheel is a major point of concern. If wheel wasn't invented, then the world could have been a lot different. We wouldn't have seen vehicles, we wouldn't have an easier and a relaxing journey and finally, we wouldn't have been able to do many of our daily chores. Let's discuss an example relating to this first. Suppose we want to make 'Puri' at our home and we see that we don't have wheat flour with us. But luckily we have wheat grains in store room of our house. So, in hurry we take up those wheat grains to mill and let them for grinding.

Now think, if there won't have been wheel, then how that wheat flour would have produced since mill - belt can't work with a triangular component instead of wheel right ? This really is so funny to imagine. Similar case follows with every purpose of wheel. Kindly refer the first attachment whicy shows the earliest forms of wheel. It seems really heavy and hard even very difficult to use. This led to development of wheels to many stages.

Please refer the next attachments which shows the development in wheels. If wheels won't have been there, then we wouldn't have been able to travel to any place. We see that most of the transport systems need wheels except water transport system.

Even many of our vessels and decorative systems which are made by potters, wouldn't have been made because potters use wheels to make it.

Now let's discuss the importance of wheel in modern era ::

Have we ever pondered upon that in what ways are wheels important to us ?

Wheels have played a major role in development of human civilisation. We see, that according to the age and situations, the structure and purpose of the wheel were also developed. The last attachment shows the modern wheel.

Wheels play a major role in the locomotion and travel of people from one place to another.

In villages, people use heavy stone wheels as grinders for different cereals.

  • Wheels are used in mills for grinding purposes.

  • Wheels are used by potters to make different varieties of potteries.

  • The developed form of wheel are the coins.

  • Wheels are used in transport chain for easy transportation of coals and other minerals from their mines.
