Alauddin Khilji died on 4 January 1316 which was suspected as the conspiracy of Malik Kafur by other officers of the Sultanate. Kafur buried Alauddin’s body (brought from the Siri Place) in Alauddin’s mausoleum, which was already built for Alauddin before his death.
