How do amino acids affect enzymes?

Enzymes are usually proteins. They have a target that they catalyze the reaction of.

The protein is built from amino acids...and so other than actually making the enzyme, the enzyme isn't affected by a bunch of amino acids (unless that enzyme is involved in a reaction that uses amino acids in some form).

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER:-

Enzymes are made from amino acids, and they are proteins. ... The chain of amino acids then folds into a unique shape. That shape allows the enzyme to carry out specific chemical reactions -- an enzyme acts as a very efficient catalyst for a specific chemical reaction. The enzyme speeds that reaction up tremendously.
