Homologous organs: organs which have same basic structure but different function.
Example: The forelimbs of a frog, lizard & bird have same basic design of bones but they perform different functions.the forelimbs of lizard used for running & the forelimbs of bird are modified for flying.hence, all these organisms use their forelimbs for performing different function.
Analogous organ: Organs which hv different basic structure but perform similar functions.
Example: the wings of an insect & a bird hv different structure, but they perform the same function of flying.
