In human beings the carbohydrates are digested by the enzymes called SALIVARY AMYLASE and PANCREATIC AMYLASE. Fats are emulsified( the process of breaking down of large fat globules into smaller fat globules by bile juice ) by the bile juice and digested by PANCREATIC LIPASE. Proteins are digested by PEPSIN and TRYPSIN.
