The chloroplast is the site of photosynthesis where sunlight energy co2 converted into sugar

Chloroplast is the green pigment containing organelle present in green part of the plant...

Chloroplasts have chlorophyll which is the green pigment which absorbs light energy to produce food ie. Sucrose and energy in the form of ATP and NADPH....

So the process called photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplast due to the presence of cholophyll and sunlight....

Now the sucrose which is produced by the chloroplast moves out and is transported to all the part of the plants through phloem...

So this sucrose is then absorbed by the plant cell and this sucrose is broken down into glucose in cytoplasm of the cell and the glycolisis cycle takes place which converts glucose into pyruvic acid.....

This releases ATP and NADPH

Then this pyruvic acid enters citric acid cycle and again more ATP NaDPH, etc are released but the plant need more ATP and these are not sufficient soo they eneter mitochondria .....

Now all these NADPH and FADH2 enters the mitochondria for electron transport chain and hence releases O2, More ATP...

So this is the relation between chloroplast and mitochondria...

In short mitochondria need chloroplast for the production of ATP ie. Energy cell....
