how do desert plants perform photosynthesis process though their stomata remains closed during day time.?

Here's the required answer:-

Desert plants take in CO2 ( Carbon Dioxide) in the night and absorb it from the atmosphere since their stomata remains closed during daytime. And in the daytime they make use of the absorbed carbon dioxide and use sunlight in the presence of chlorophyll and water for the process of photosynthesis.

During this process, stomata on a plant's leaves and stems open to absorb carbon dioxide from the air and in return release oxygen.
