AnswEr :-

Desert plants undergo CAM photosynthesis. The stomata of in desert plants is opened during night. They absorb carbon dioxide, thus forming an intermediate. During the day, stomata is closed to prevent loss of water thorough transpiration and the plants use the stored carbon dioxide to perform photosynthesis.

Extra Information :-

Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants use the energy from sunlight to synthesise nutrients from carbon dioxide and water.

Equation of Photosynthesis :-

\boxed {\sf {6CO_{2}+6H_{2}O+Sunlight \xrightarrow[\text{Sunlight}]{\text{Chlorophyll}} C_{6}H_{12}O_{6}+6O_{2}}}
