First case: When the two numbers don't have any common factor other than one.
Then simply multiply the 2 numbers , the product will be the LCM.
Eg. 2 and 3
2×3=6
So,6 is the LCM.
Second case: When the two numbers have any common factor other than one. Then first divide the two numbers by their lowest common factor. Now if the lowest common factor can divide only one number than divide the number and leave the rest one same as it is.Now do this until the number can't be divided then divide the numbers using the second lowest common factor and repeat the same thing again and again until both numbers decrease to 1.
then multiply the numbers (clear in attachment).
Eg. in the attachment multiply
2×2×2×3×3 =72 is the LCM
