how do flies acts as carriers of disease causing microbes

Flies are famous as vectors all over the globe. Flies sit on dead and decomposed matter or other matter where germs are present . When they sit the germs get attached ro the body and when it sits on the food or something the germs get transported into the food. Thus it acts as a carrier of microbes.
