Undesirable activities of human beings eliminate the growth of the organisms belonging to the one or more trophic levels in a food chain. due to the undesirable activities cause the extinction of organisms. In such a situation it can adversely affect the other members of the ecosystem. For example plants -> deer -> tiger.
If the number of deer continue to decrease then the number of tigers will also decrease because the tigers won't get enough food. As a result, the plants will also decrease because they won't get enough carbon dioxide. So, the indirect impact of such a situation will become destructive for the ecosystem.

It causes the imbalance in the functioning of the ecosystem and biosphere. If organisms of one trophic level are eliminated, then the organisms prior to that trophic level will flourish and will increase in number and also the organisms of the subsequent trophic level will sharply decrease, and hence this situation will create imbalance in nature.

undesirable activities of man eliminate  the growth of organisms belonging to one or more trophic levels in a food chain. Thus, Food chains gets shortened.
For example :
1.Hunting tigers for their skin
2. Plants---Deer---Tiger
3. Deforestation
If man cuts down the trees for their commercial needs then deers which are dependent on trees get less food and also less amount of oxygen will released in the atmosphere where all living organism are dependent on O2. if deers become less in number due to lack of food, tiger become less in number . Thus the indirect activities of human beings leads to imbalance in ecosystem and biosphere. If organisms of one trophic level are eliminated, the organisms prior to that trophic level will flourish and increase in number and also the organisms of the subsequent trophic level will sharply decrease, therby creating an imbalance.
