Subsequently, over a period of time there is a development of or in technology which has made the substance to transform/convert or to be utilised as a resource. Finally, the value provides the economical worth of a substance .

A “gift of nature” implies a giver and a positive value to what is received. I have no clear evidence of a “giver” or that such things of nature are always positive, such as tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, or hurricanes. I will suggest that many (not all) elements of nature have practical values to us (humans). These values change as our needs and technologies change and cultures evolve, with some things becoming more important over time and other things less so. Anything we can use is a “resource”. If we can’t use it, it’s just nature.
