how do harmful Chemicals enter our bodies to a food chain??!!

If we spray pestisides in fields,then they are transfered to ponds which are near the fields and the chemicals or pestisides are consumed by fishes.So,the fishes body is filled with chemicals. When fishermans go for fishing and they catches fishes and the sells in market. We will buy that fishes and we will eat that fishes.So,we are also affected by that chemicals.
