Answer:

For Q1 to prove it by SAS we needed

AC = DE (given)

angle ACB = angle DCE

and BC = CE

so that by SAS triangle ABC congruent to triangle DEC.

For Q2,

We can't prove no congruence as we don't have other details, we are only given with two details that two of the sides are equal in two triangles but as no other details are not mentioned, hence we can't prove it.

I) In ΔACB & ΔDCE

Given that :

\rightarrow AC = DC

\rightarrow Angle ACB = Angle = DCE (Vertically opposite angles)

If we want these triangles to be congruent but SAS criteria , then BC should be equal to CE.

\rightarrow Option 3.

II) In ΔGKJ & ΔGLJ

Given that :

\rightarrow GK = GL

\rightarrow JK = KL

\rightarrow GJ = GJ (Common side)

They are congruent by SSS criteria.

\rightarrow Option 1.
