We will look into the mirror by going close to it:
(i)If image is of same size and erect-plane mirror.
(ii) If image is of bigger size and erect - concave mirror.
(iii) If image is of smaller size and erect - convex mirror.

It's very simple to identify the three types of mirror by touching. You just have to know the physics nature of the mirror.
If we talk about Concave mirror then we can identify it as the mirror whose surface is inward. We can remember the concave mirror as cave, which means inward as cave is inside.
Now, if we talk of convex mirror then if the surface of the mirror is bulging out then it is a convex mirror.
Third comes the plane mirror we can feel it by touching the straight plain surface of the mirror and tell that it is a plane mirror.
