It is very picturesque and scenic. The villages in Ladakh have Buddhist Monasteries. Ladakhi, Purig, Tibetan, Hindi, and English are the commonly used languages.
Kashmir is the summer city of Jammu and Kashmir. With its great wonders, the city is famous for its lakes and the rows of houseboats floating on them and Mughal gardens.
The ancient temple of Shankaracharya also bring lots of pilgrims.
