Our ecosystem consists of both living and non-living beings.

The living things are dependant on the non-living things for survival.

Without water, food or air living things will cease to exist.

Things such as the soil, sunlight and shelter too are also quite important for all the living things and it is because of the ecosystem that that the living beings get to fulfill their needs.
